Annual Funds Manager provides leadership to and has primary responsibility for meeting or exceeding budgetary goals for the Individual Annual Fund, Corporate Annual Fund, Corporate Partners program and Tribute program. This position is also responsible for managing the Database Coordinator.
Contributes to a creative culinary team by providing input, food production and distribution of products and services for the Taste of the Gardens Catering and Café operation. The position is responsible for maintaining organization, food sanitation, quality standards and effective communication. Reflects established standards for quality, productivity, professionalism, and customer service by following standard operating procedures and recipe guidelines.
The Café Service position is responsible for assisting with sales, food production, floor support and customer service through use of the organization’s Guiding Principles. Required to work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers and vendors.
Responsible for setting up, stocking, serving and dismantling catering and, or beverage services for the Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Parks’ Food and Beverage Department. Required to work independently as well as with effective direction and support for other staff members, volunteers and vendors.
The Membership Office Associate assists the Membership Department with new memberships, membership renewals and gift memberships. Answers phone calls, returns voicemail messages, data entry and membership fulfillment. This seasonal opportunity occurs during one of the busiest times of the year: Fred & Dorothy Fichter Butterflies Are Blooming Exhibition and Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens.

The Communications department is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented student in his/her junior or senior year to join our team. The unpaid internship is approximately 20–25 hours per week. The intern should be majoring in communications, public relations, marketing, advertising, journalism or related field. An interest in gardening and/or the arts is preferred.

Education Interns will interact with children and adults in a variety of engaging activities throughout the summer. Position starts June 2016.
Responsible for day to day guest service functions performed at Admissions, Monitor, Information Desk and Amphitheatre Box Office.
These are temporary, hourly, seasonal positions. The Seasonal Gardener (Intern) will assist with the maintenance of indoor and outdoor gardens and displays. The work schedule will include a rotation of weekends and holidays, which will involve some greenhouse, grounds maintenance and landscaping responsibilities. 40 hours per week (up to 12-16 weeks). Beginning April to May and ending mid to late August.
Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park is seeking an intern for the spring and summer months in 2015. Interns will assist the Hospitality Department to sell event spaces, assist with phone inquiries, plan, organize, and coordinate events and catering ranging from corporate, social, trade shows, weddings and concerts. Will work in office and “on the floor”; physical work is required. Will learn to use hospitality management software; Event Master and Turbo CAD. Hospitality intern will assist the department from origination to execution ensuring a quality experience for our guests.
